BJP Candidate JP Nishad Elected Unopposed To Rajya Sabha From UP
JP Nishad is a former Bahujan Samaj Birthday celebration (BSP) MLA who joined the BJP a couple of years in the past.

BJP candidate Jai Prakash Nishad used to be declared elected to Rajya Sabha unopposed from Uttar Pradesh on Monday.
Mr Nishad used to be the lone candidate to report nomination for the by-election and Monday used to be the closing date for withdrawal of candidature.
Mr Nishad has been declared elected unopposed to Rajya Sabha, Election Officer Brij Bhushan Dubey advised PTI.
He used to be additionally passed over the certificates mentioning his election, Mr Dubey stated.
Mr Nishad filed his nomination for the Rajya Sabha by-election on Thursday. The by-election used to be necessitated following the dying of Samajwadi Birthday celebration MP Beni Prasad Verma. His tenure used to be until July four, 2022.
