High Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid tribute to Bir Chilarai, the mythical common of the Koch dynasty in Assam within the 16th Century and mentioned his bravery will proceed to inspire the approaching generations.
“The good Bir Chilarai is synonymous with valour and patriotism. He was once an impressive warrior, who fought for folks and the foundations he held sacred. His bravery will proceed to inspire the approaching generations. Remembering him on his Jayanti,” PM Modi tweeted.
Assam Leader Minister Sarbananda Sonowal additionally paid floral tribute to Chilarai on his start anniversary.
