Child Rani Maurya: Former Uttarakhand Governor Enters Lively Politics

An influential Jatav chief, Child Rani Maurya remaining 12 months resigned from the Uttarakhand governor’s publish, taking a plunge into energetic politics.

On Friday, the 65-year-old Dalit chief used to be sworn-in as an Uttar Pradesh cabnet minister.

Ms Maurya had resigned from the governor’s publish in September remaining 12 months, resulting in speculations that the party need her to go into energetic politics. She held the publish for 3 years.

She used to be made the nationwide vice-president of the party and used to be elected to the state Meeting from Agra (Rural) within the just-concluded elections.

Her husband Pradeep Kumar retired from a senior publish in a financial institution.
