Atlético Madrid extends Diego Simeone’s contract till 2024

Atlético Madrid prolonged the contracts of trainer Diego Simeone and his group of workers till the tip of the 2024 season, the membership mentioned on Thursday.

The extensions come after Atlético gained its first Spanish league name since 2014. The contracts have been set to run out subsequent June.

Simeone took over Atlético in December 2011 and is the trainer with essentially the most consecutive seasons in control of a Spanish league membership.

The Argentine is Atlético’s maximum a success trainer with 8 titles and 316 victories.

Simeone performed as a defensive midfielder with Atlético within the 1990s and 2000s.
