Trinamool Congress has deferred its manifesto unencumber scheduled for these days following an alleged assault on party leader and Leader Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Ms Banerjee on Wednesday had alleged that she was once attacked through “four-five males” in Nandigram, injuring her left leg, hours after she filed nomination from the seat.
The incident came about round 6:15 pm when Ms Banerjee was once about to depart the Birulia house close to Reyapara after praying at a neighborhood temple, PTI reported.
“I used to be status outdoor my automotive with the door open. I used to be praying from there on seeing a temple. Few other folks came over my automotive and driven the door. The door hit my leg,” she instructed journalists.
The executive minister stated that her leg were given swollen as a result of the damage and he or she was once feeling feverish, but even so having chest ache.
Pointing to her leg, she instructed journalists, “See the way it has swollen.”
