Anti-CAA Resolution In Puducherry Assembly On February 12: V Narayanasamy


A solution opposing the CAA could be moved within the Puducherry Assembly, the Leader Minister stated.

Puducherry:

A solution opposing the Citizenship Modification Act could be moved within the Puducherry Assembly on February 12, Leader Minister V Narayanasamy stated on Sunday whilst terming the law as “ill-conceived”.

The Congress-ruled Puducherry will be the 5th dispensation to undertake the path after the West Bengal, Kerala, Punjab and Rajasthan assemblies handed resolutions towards the amended citizenship legislation.

Launching a ”huge” signature marketing campaign towards the CAA, the Nationwide Check in of Voters and the Nationwide Inhabitants Check in within the union territory, V Narayanasamy stated, “We can by no means give room for the CAA as it’s ill-conceived and injurious.”

The solution condemning the Centre’s initiative could be followed at the flooring of the territorial meeting when it meets on February 12, CM Narayanasamy stated.

“Somehow, we will be able to protest enamel and nail the CAA and can give no room for advent of the act within the union territory,” he stated.

The signature marketing campaign has been introduced by way of the DMK-led Secular Innovative Alliance which contains the Congress.

DMK president MK Stalin introduced the initiative in Tamil Nadu.

Others who participated within the marketing campaign come with the DMK legislator and convenor of the DMK (south) wing R Siva, PCC chief and PWD Minister A Namassivayam, leaders of the CPI, CPI(M), VCK, DK and different events affiliated to the alliance.

The signature marketing campaign would pass on until February eight.
