After huge outrage over his “15-crore (Muslims) will end up more potent than the 100-crore majority (Hindus)” remark, AIMIM former legislator from Maharashtra, Waris Pathan, on Saturday withdrew his debatable observation, pronouncing he had no intentions to harm the feelings of any group.

“My observation is being twisted to focus on and defame me and my celebration because of a political conspiracy. Alternatively, I take again my phrases in the event that they harm any person and apologise for a similar. I’m a real and proud citizen of this nation,” Mr Pathan instructed journalists in Mumbai.

Ultimate week, amid protests towards the contentious citizenship regulation, Mr Pathan used to be heard in a video that went viral pronouncing, “We need to transfer in combination.
