A case has been registered in Pratapgarh in opposition to six other people, together with the district leader of the Samajwadi Party, for allegedly hurling casteist remarks in opposition to an individual and perilous to kill him, officers mentioned on Sunday.

Circle Officer (CO) of Kunda Arjun Singh mentioned the criticism was once lodged at Manikpur police station in Uttar Pradesh’s Pratapgarh via Arjun Kumar, alleging that he was once injured after being hit via the automobile of Chhavinath Yadav, the district president of Samajwadi Party, whilst he was once returning to his area on a motorbike on October 7.

When Mr Arjun confirmed his resentment, Mr Yadav and his aides hurled casteist remarks and likewise threatened to kill him, the CO mentioned.

Performing at the criticism of Arjun, police on Saturday registered a case in opposition to Yadav and 5 unidentified other people, he mentioned.
