DRDO Develops Light-weight Bullet-Evidence Jacket For Indian Military
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the DRDO and its lab for growing the brand new jacket.

The DRDO has evolved a light-weight bullet-proof jacket that weighs nine kg and meets the qualitative necessities of the Indian Military, the defence ministry stated on Thursday.
Kanpur-based Defence Fabrics and Retail outlets Analysis and Building Established order (DMSRDE), which is among the laboratories of the government-run Defence Analysis and Building Organisation (DRDO), has evolved this jacket, a ministry remark stated.
“The entrance laborious armour panel bullet evidence jacket used to be examined at Terminal Ballistics Analysis Lab in Chandigarh and it met related requirements of the BIS (Bureau of Indian Requirements),” the remark stated.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the DRDO and its lab DMSRDE for growing the brand new jacket.
