Shaheed Diwas: India Recalls Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru

Lately is Shaheed Diwas or Martyrs’ Day. India recalls the 3 nice heroes of the liberty motion – Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar – on their demise anniversary, which is referred to as Martyrs’ Day or Shaheed Diwas. On March 23, 1931 – 3 innovative freedom opponents, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, all of their early twenties, have been hanged within the Lahore prison. The 3 have been sentenced to demise by means of the British colonial rulers.

High Minister Narendra Modi paid wealthy tributes to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru on Shaheed Diwas. “…The sacrifice of those nice sons of Maa Bharati will stay an inspiration for generations within the nation,” PM Modi tweeted.

Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu in his tribute to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru wrote on social media: “My humble tributes to the fearless freedom opponents, Bhagat Singh, Shiva Ram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar, on their martyrdom day nowadays. Their indomitable braveness and love for our motherland impressed many to enroll in the liberty motion. The country will stay ceaselessly thankful to those courageous hearts for his or her splendid sacrifice and devoted efforts to loose our motherland.”
