“International Our Circle of relatives”: PM Responds To Ex-Cricketer’s “Cherished Nation” Tweet
New Delhi:
Former world cricketer Kevin Pietersen’s reward for India’s “generosity and kindness” in sending COVID-19 vaccines to South Africa brought about High Minister Narendra Modi to say on Wednesday that India believes that the arena is our circle of relatives, and it desires to play its function in strengthening the battle towards the pandemic.
“Satisfied to look your affection in opposition to India. 🙂 We consider that the arena is our circle of relatives and wish to play our function in strengthening the battle towards COVID-19,” PM Modi tweeted.
He used to be responding to Mr Pietersen’s tweet that mentioned, “Indian generosity and kindness grows increasingly more each and every unmarried day. The cherished nation!”
The previous England batsman expressed his sentiments on Tuesday after Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar posted an image of an airplane that had landed with made-in-India vaccines in South Africa.
Mr Pietersen used to be born in South Africa and moved to England later.
