Statehood Day: On January 21, Manipur, Tripura and Meghalaya was full-fledged states

High Minister Narendra Modi greeted the folk of Manipur, Tripura and Meghalaya on their Statehood Day. On January 21, 1972, the 3 states of Manipur, Tripura and Meghalaya was full-fledged states below the North Japanese Area (Reorganisation) Act of 1971. PM Modi wanted the folk of the 3 states and stated India is proud in their contributions. In his greetings to the folk of Manipur, PM Modi stated that the state is a “powerhouse of innovation and carrying skill.” 

“The tradition and heat hearted nature of the folk of Tripura is admired throughout India,” the High Minister wrote in his Statehood day message for Tripura. 

He showered praises at the other folks of Meghalaya and stated that the state “is understood for  its outstanding kindness and spirit of brotherhood…”.

President Ram Nath Kovind in his message at the Statehood Day of theh 3 northeasters states stated, “Greetings to the fantastic other folks of Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura…Blessed with immense herbal attractiveness, wealthy historical past and colourful tradition, those states are interesting…”.
