The district management has invoked the stringent Nationwide Safety Act in opposition to the primary accused, they added.
“Between April and December, 2020, ration price Rs 79 lakh underneath the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana, supposed for distribution from 12 honest value retail outlets right through the COVID-19 outbreak, was once offered within the open marketplace,” stated Indore Collector Manish Singh.
The ration mafia, in connivance with store house owners, siphoned off massive amounts of wheat, rice, salt, sugar, gram, tur dal and many others, he stated.
“The primary accused are ration retail outlets organisation’s president Bharat Dave, Shyam Dave and Pramod Dahigude. Motion underneath NSA has been initiated in opposition to them.
