The taking pictures of Anees Bazmee directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 used to be stopped in March 2020 amidst the pandemic. Whilst a number of movies resumed taking pictures by means of July-August after the lockdown relaxations have been introduced, the crew of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is but to renew taking pictures.

The crew of the Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starre used to be intended to renew taking pictures in October. Then again, it used to be postponed to December. Reportedly, the makers have given the crew revised dates for January-end. Then again, Tabu who performs a a very powerful position within the movie used to be unavailable for the stated dates and used to be within the means of exiting the movie.

Then again, the makers are all in favour of keeping her and are transforming the dates. To begin with, they have been intended to shoot this month and later shoot in Lucknow. However now the shoot has been postponed to July 2021.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is part of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise however now not a sequel. The primary movie which used to be a remake of a Malayalam movie starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan within the lead.
