Beloved Celebrity Fashion Designer Pam Hogg Dead At 66: ‘She Leaves A Magnificent Legacy’ – Perez Hilton

The fashion world has lost a true icon.

On Instagram Wednesday, fashion designer and celebrity stylist Pam Hogg‘s family broke the sad news. In a new post, they wrote:

“The Hogg Family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Pamela. We are grateful in the knowledge that her final hours were peaceful and surrounded by the loving care of cherished friends and family. We wish to thank all the staff of St Joseph’s Hospice, Hackney for the beautiful support they provided for Pamela in her final days.”

The statement continued:

“Pamela’s creative spirit and body of work touched the lives of many people of all ages and she leaves a magnificent legacy that will continue to inspire, bring joy and challenge us to live beyond the confines of convention. Pamela will continue to live in our hearts and minds. A glorious life lived and loved “

Pam has designed for and styled many high-profile A-listers, including Rihanna, Beyoncé, Shakira, and Lady GaGa. In the past, royals like Princess Diana and Princess Catherine have also donned her high fashion pieces. So cool!

Just earlier this year, Pam met up with her old friend, singer Justin Vivian Bond, in London. In a post from the time, as the musician recalled, the fashion designer had asked them to pose “in front of my coffin”. You can see that picture (below):

It seemed like she may have knew what was coming, and had accepted it. It’s comforting to know she was so peaceful in her final days.
