4 Crore Masks, 20 Lakh Medical Goggles: “Restriction-Free” Export Allowed

The federal government on Wednesday mentioned it has allowed the export of 4 crore surgical mask and 20 lakh clinical goggles each month, weeks after giving a nod to the per month export of 50 lakh gadgets of PPE (private coverage apparatus) clinical coveralls.
“Following PM Modi’s mantra of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, in a choice to advertise Make in India and commercial expansion, executive lets in export of four cr 2/three Ply surgical mask and 20 lakh clinical goggles each month, along side restriction-free export of face shields,” Union Minister Piyush Goyal showed tweeted on Wednesday.

The Directorate Common of International Business (DGFT) mentioned that “per month export quota of 50 Lakh gadgets of Clinical Coveralls for COVID-19, 20 lakh clinical goggles has been authorized.”
All different pieces which can be a part of PPE kits stay prohibited, it mentioned.
This stuff come with clinical goggles, all mask rather then non-medical/non-surgical (cotton, silk, wool, polyester, nylon rayon, viscose – knitted, woven or mixed); nitrile gloves and face protect.
