4 individuals were arrested for allegedly robbing some villagers by way of posing as cow vigilantes in Maharashtra’s Palghar district, police mentioned lately.

The complainants have been returning after buying livestock for breeding functions when the accused stopped them claiming to be “Gau-rakshak” (self-proclaimed cow vigilantes) and robbed them of Rs 20,000, he mentioned.
