Bhangar, West bengal:

3 individuals had been killed as a fire broke out at a marketplace in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas district within the early hours of Saturday, officers mentioned.

A brief-circuit led to the fire that first broke out at a kerosene outlet within the Ghatakpukur Bazar house in Bhangar, round 20 km from Kolkata, they mentioned.

Drums of kerosene stocked within the store began exploding, following which the flames unfold to an adjoining eatery, a store and a space, they mentioned.

The landlord of the eatery, in his early 50s, along side two youngsters who used to paintings in it went throughout the store with a purpose to avoid wasting valuables and douse the blaze, officers mentioned.

On the other hand, they could not pop out in time and had been killed. It took 5 hours for 3 fire tenders to carry the blaze underneath regulate, officers mentioned.

Items value lakhs of rupees had been destroyed within the fire, they mentioned.
