A 250-kg reside bomb has been discovered buried at a building website online Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal World Airport (HISA) with mavens speculating that the cylinder-like bomb was once dropped someday all the way through Bangladesh’s Liberation Battle in opposition to Pakistan in 1971.

A 250-kg reside bomb has been discovered buried at a building website online Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal World Airport (HISA) with mavens speculating that the cylinder-like bomb was once dropped someday all the way through Bangladesh’s Liberation Battle in opposition to Pakistan in 1971.

Development staff detected the bomb on Wednesday all the way through their excavation works for a longer terminal of the airport, officers stated.

On data, the bomb disposal unit of the Air Drive’s Bangabandhu Base rushed to the spot and defused the 250-kg bomb, Touhdi-ul-Ahsan,the director of Airport stated.

Later, the bomb, which military mavens referred to as a “reside bomb” having explosives within, was once taken to Rasulpur Firing Vary in Paharkanchanpur with vital precautions for its protected and guided explosion.

Bomb mavens consider that the bomb was once dropped someday all the way through the Liberation Battle in 1971.
