200 and thirty-four Indians stranded in coronavirus-hit Iran have arrived in India, Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar mentioned on Sunday.

The batch accommodates 131 scholars and 103 pilgrims, he mentioned.

“234 Indians stranded in Iran have arrived in India; together with 131 scholars and 103 pilgrims.Thanks Ambassador Dhamu Gaddam and @India_in_Iran crew to your efforts. Thank Iranian government,” S Jaishankar tweeted.

The 3rd batch of Indians from Iran arrived early Sunday.

A 2d batch of 44 Indian pilgrims had arrived from Iran on Friday.

Iran is likely one of the worst-affected international locations via the coronavirus outbreak and the federal government has been operating on plans to convey again Indians stranded there.

The primary batch of 58 Indian pilgrims have been introduced again from Iran on Tuesday.
