2020 Nobel Prize Physics: Roger Penrose, Reinhard Genzel and Andrea Ghez declared winners

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences these days introduced that it has made up our minds to award the 2020 Nobel Prize in Physics to Roger Penrose, Reinhard Genzel and Andrea Ghez.

The Academy stated one part of the 2020 Nobel Prize in Physics has been awarded to Roger Penrose and the opposite part collectively to Reinhard Genzel and Andrea Ghez.

Roger Penrose received the 2020 Nobel Prize in Physics for his paintings on black hollow and the overall principle of relativity.
In its quotation, the academy stated Roger Penrose used to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics “for the invention that black hollow formation is a sturdy prediction of the overall principle of relativity.”

In the meantime, Reinhard Genzel and Andrea Ghez, who’ve collectively received the second one part of the prize, were awarded “for the invention of a supermassive compact object on the centre of our galaxy”, the academy stated.
