14 tiger reserves get CA|TS accreditation


At the instance of Global Tiger Day on Thursday, Minister for Atmosphere, Woodland and Local weather Trade Bhupender Yadav introduced that 14 tiger reserves in India have gained accreditation of International Conservation Confident Tiger Requirements (CA|TS).

CA|TS is a globally authorized conservation software that units absolute best follow and requirements to control tigers and encourages exams to benchmark development. It’s being carried out throughout 125 websites in seven tiger vary international locations and India has the best possible 94 websites.

The 14 tiger reserves, which were permitted, are Manas, Kaziranga and Orang in Assam; Satpura, Kanha and Panna in Madhya Pradesh; Pench in Maharashtra; Valmiki Tiger Reserve in Bihar; Dudhwa in Uttar Pradesh; Sunderbans in West Bengal; Parambikulam in Kerala; Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka; and Mudumalai and Anamalai Tiger Reserves in Tamil Nadu.
