Ten BJP and two Samajwadi Party applicants have been elected unopposed to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council on Thursday.

The ones elected integrated Deputy Leader Minister Dinesh Sharma, former IAS officer AK Sharma and state BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh.

“All 12 applicants were declared elected unopposed. I’ve given profitable certificate to they all,” Returning Officer Brijbhushan Dubey informed PTI.

The Samajwadi Party applicants who made it to the legislative council have been Ahmed Hasan and Rajendra Chaudhary.

After receiving the profitable certificates, BJP candidate AK Sharma in his tweet mentioned, “Thank BJP and its central and state management and employees for making MLC of @BJP4UP. Lifestyles is for Country; BJP my dignity, Lotus is Id. Thank Honourable (Narendra) Modi ji from center.”

Uttar Pradesh Leader Minister Yogi Adityanath additionally congratulated the winners. “I’m hoping that every one you’ll be useful in satisfying considered a self-reliant UP. Very best needed in your brilliant tenure,” he mentioned.
