A 10-month-old child in Tripura’s Unakoti district was once allegedly given water combined with sanitiser to drink at a well being centre the place he was once taken for administering a polio vaccine, police stated on Wednesday.
A police criticism was once registered towards the ASHA (accepted social well being activist) employee for giving the infant sanitiser-mixed water, police legit Pradyot Datta stated.
After the infant was once administered a polio vaccine on the well being centre in Sonamura village on Tuesday, his mom requested the ASHA employee to present consuming water, police stated.
After consuming the water the infant were given sick and was once taken to a health center.
Mr Datta stated that as in keeping with the initial investigation it was once discovered to be a mistake.
Well being officers stated the infant was once present process remedy and his situation is strong.
